Classical Studies graduate Tiffany Makinen (now Bradley), has been chosen by the Waterloo Region Record as a member of the Top 40 under 40 for 2011! Shortly after graduating in 2000, Tiffany began her working career in public affairs for Nabisco; since then she has developed considerable expertise in this field, and is currently the manager of communications and marketing for Wilfrid Laurier University’s centennial celebrations. A dedicated philanthropist, Tiffany has volunteered with the Canadian Association of Food Banks (CAFB), she serves on the community advisory council of Oktoberfest, and she is the current director of special initiatives for the Grand Valley chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). The Department invited Tiffany to attend the Spring 2011 Luncheon, to celebrate her exemplary achievement.
