Vincent Racine wins QEII Award

CM Master's student Vincent Racine has won the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST). This scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, leadership and research ability and communication skills. Congratulations, Vincent!

Chi-Wang Shu to speak in AM/CM Distinguished Lecture

Professor Chi-Wang Shu from Brown University will be the speaker in this year’s first Applied and Computational Mathematics Distinguished Lecture. Prof. Shu will give the Distinguished Lecture on Wednesday September 21, 11:30-12:30, in MC 5501, followed by a reception. Everyone cordially invited!

Winter 2022 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award Recipients

The Computational Mathematics program and the Faculty of Mathematics value the hard work graduate students put in during their TA assignments. The Computational Mathematics Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award is given, upon nomination by course instructors, to TAs who have done outstanding work in carrying out his or her TA duties.

The recipients of the Winter 2022 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award are Waqas Bin Hamed, Cassandra Wong, and Leon Yao.

CM student awarded the David Johnston International Student Entrance Scholarship
