Today, 20 student venture teams will compete to win their share of $130,000 in prizes at the fall 2018 Velocity Fund Finals. Did you know that many of the teams competing have founders who have completed programs or taken courses at the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business? Keep reading to learn more about these students.

Change is afoot at Conrad.  In early June, the University of Waterloo’s Board of Governors officially changed the Conrad Centre into the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business. This change reflects what Conrad has become and where it is going.  We are eager to keep our community aware of what is changing, what is staying the same, and what to expect from the new Conrad School.

In June the Conrad School hosted the latest ConradConnect Live event, this time at the Ryerson DMZ in downtown Toronto. ConradConnect Live is an opportunity for the Conrad School to host our students and alumni in a casual environment to network with each other, Conrad School faculty and staff, and community members.
