If you've already successfully completed several courses or terms at the University of Waterloo, you may be eligible for select EDGE milestones based on your academic history. You can start to plan your journey through EDGE by reviewing the following milestone opportunities.
Please keep in mind that the table below is meant to serve as an overview of potential milestone opportunities. It shouldn't be used for robust planning. When you register for EDGE, your transcript will be reviewed by the EDGE team for potential equivalencies. The EDGE team has the ability to make whatever decision they see fit regarding your milestone eligibility.
Your academic history may not perfectly align with the milestone opportunities outlined in the table below. If you have any questions about your eligibility for EDGE milestones, contact us at edge@uwaterloo.ca.

A listing of the skills identification and articulation and career development courses for the current term can be found on the EDGE courses page.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
