2024 TD Walter Bean High School Lecture

Dr. Denis Aheto will discuss a holistic approach to caring for the world’s oceans, lakes and rivers. Using examples from African countries, he will explore how the global community can transform the challenges facing our oceans into opportunities for growth to bolster sustainable development and stimulate socioeconomic transformation.

The Department of Knowledge Integration hosted Shad Waterloo for Grade 10 and 11 students from across Canada. They tackled the question: How might we reimagine living spaces for people in Canada to make them more accessible, sustainable, and community-oriented? We joined this year's cohort at their final open-day event to see their proposed projects and ideas, and learn what they liked most about their experience.

Knowledge Integration eXhibition: KIX 2023

KIX (n): Knowledge Integration eXhibition; a convergence of disciplines, teaching methods and creative minds in an object-centric exhibition on topics related to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The students in the Knowledge Integration program invite you to experience the culmination of our third-year design project: The Museum Course. Working in teams to produce these exhibits has been a rewarding and unique experience.
