Miswar Syed - Swish
Miswar is pursuing a Master's degree in ECE. He is an inventor, published author, TEDx speaker, and the founder of Swish, a company that uses nanotechnology to clean solar panels in a faster, cheaper, and more efficient way. Miswar was funded by GreenHouse’s Social Impact Fund and Velocity’s 5k in Spring 2023.
Lydia Konlan
Lydia Madintin Konlan - Rising SheFarmers
Lydia Madintin Konlan is a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology student at the Conrad School of Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Waterloo. She is the Founder and CEO of FarmicleGrow, a startup that uses market demand data to help smallholder farmers upscale their farming capabilities and satisfy the demand requirements of both small and large buyers while providing traceability in the value chain. She also founded the Rising SheFarmers, a social impact start-up empowering women to get out of poverty through mushroom farming
Chanakya Ramdev - Electric Boats Inc.
Chanakya graduated from Engineering and then started his second degree in Environment – combining both to better combat climate change. After combining Engineering and Environment, Chanakya added Entrepreneurship to the mix. Together the skill stack gives him everything he needs to bring the change he wants to bring to the world.
