a
series
of
workshops
on
how
to
develop
and
deepen
mutually
supportive
relationships,
and
how
to
build
inclusive
communities
and
support
those

Research
shows
that
people
who
are
more
socially
integrated
and
who
experience
more
supportive
and
rewarding
relationships
with
others
have
better
mental
health,
higher
levels
of
subjective
well-being,
and
lower
rates
of
morbidity
and
mortality.

"Leaning
on
others":
In
mutually
supportive
friendship,
asking
for
and
receiving
help
is
just
as
important
as
offering
and
providing
help.
Let’s
discuss
how
to
be
better
support
recipients.
These
events
will
strive
to
be
socially
accessible,
meaning
that
social
missteps
will
be
tolerated
and
any
unspoken
rules
will
be
explained.
You
can

with
any
questions
or
if
you
are

about
attending.
The
workshops
will
be
held
in

Porter
Library's
newly
renovated
Learning
Lab
on

floor.
