GRADflix 2025, supported by GSEF and organized by Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (GSPA), invited graduate students to create one-minute videos showcasing their research. Held in person at Federation Hall, the event highlighted creativity and interdisciplinary impact, drawing over 200 attendees and 3,300+ online views.

To welcome new and returning students back on campus, the Student Success Office (SSO) held a Winter 2025 Grad Ready Services Fair at the Student Life Centre with a self-guided icebreaker for students. GSEF set up a booth to meet new graduate students and provide free timbits!

To address climate change and encourage environmental sustainability, the University of Waterloo has strengthened its sustainability strategy and has developed an action plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

Over the years, the Graduate Studies Endowment Fund has had the privilege of funding numerous unique projects that enhance the learning, research, and overall experience of graduate students at the University of Waterloo.

To welcome new and returning students back on campus, the Graduate Student Association (GSA) held a Barbecue Lunch Special at the Graduate House with live music from Eric Bolton. GSEF set up a booth to meet new graduate students and provide free drinks!
