Substance Harm Reduction Group

The Substance Harm Reduction Group is for students interested in making changes to their use of substances and who would like to explore this in a confidential and supportive environment. We will discuss topics that will help you better understand your relationship with substances and offer tools to gain the skills for safer use.

International Student Wellness Information Document

The Waterloo Wellness Resource Database provides a large span of resources on and off campus (e.g., House of Friendship, hospitals).

Food Support Service

Run entirely by dedicated student volunteers, this valuable service is confidential. The Food Support Service is a non-profit service that provides confidential assistance and food hampers to members of the UWaterloo community experiencing food insecurity.

Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Office (SVPRO)

SVPRO supports all members of the University of Waterloo campus community who have experienced, or been impacted, by sexual violence.

The SVPRO can help you get support, using anti-oppressive, survivor-centered, intersectional, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and collaborative approaches. They offer:

UWaterloo Optometry Clinics

The University of Waterloo optometry clinics offer comprehensive vision care for patients aged 6 months and up. Services include eye exams, glasses and contact lens fitting and dispensing, treatment of ocular disease, vision rehabilitation, low vision services and more. Clinics are located on the Waterloo and Health Sciences (Kitchener) campuses

Student Care (Health and Dental Plan)

Graduate students registered in full-time or part-time "regular" classified programs are automatically included in the Health and Dental Plans through the Graduate Student Association-University of Waterloo.
