CryptoWorks21 at the University of Waterloo, together with representatives from the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), are proud to present a lunch-time standards session.
There is a growing awareness of the need to raise awareness on the strategic value of standards to export-ready technology companies in the quantum/cryptography space, and our hope is to introduce companies and academics in our ecosystem to the pertinent features of the standards landscape, and to engage more Canadian organizations in standardization efforts as a mean to access global markets.
After a series of short, formal presentations (running 12:00-1:00pm), there will be an extended Q&A over lunch, followed by optional meetings with SCC reps (to learn more about their valuable services in support of standards and innovation), with IQC experts on quantum key distribution and quantum-safe cryptography (1:00pm-3:00pm).
Register by January 5.
