Security Proof for Discrete-Modulated Continuous Variable Quantum Key Distribution
Speaker: Twesh Upadhyaya
My current work is on proving the security of Discrete-Modulated Continuous Variable Quantum Key Distribution (DMCVQKD). The central theoretical task for the security proof is calculating the key rate for the protocol. Doing this analytically is highly involved and specific to the protocol at hand. Numerical evaluation of the key rate is more general and can enable tighter bounds. In this talk, I will outline the general framework for numeric key rate calculations and how I adapt it to study DMCVQKD.
