The purpose of this workshop is to consider the problem of efficiently simulating various quantum physical systems by quantum algorithms, particularly quantum field theories. The goals are to clearly formulate the problems and determine the feasibility of solving them. A more general goal is to improve interactions between different communities that have an interest in quantum field theories and quantum computing.
