Where is the conference taking place?

All conference talks, panels, and breaks will take place in room 0101 or the Atrium of the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre (QNC) at the University of Waterloo.

What are my transportation options for attending this conference?

Bus/Train

ION Light Rail Transit (LRT) passes will be available to conference attendees at the registration desk at the conference. We are located at the "University of Waterloo" LRT stop, and connect with many Grand River Transit bus routes from "UW Station".

Will luggage storage be available during the conference?

Secure luggage storage and a coat check are available at QNC for any belongings you have brought with you.

Can I connect to WIFI at UWaterloo?

Guest WIFI is available at the university while you are attending the conference. To connect, you will need to self-register for a temporary account.

  1. Select “UniversityOfWaterloo” from available wifi networks and follow the instructions on screen
  2. Create a guest account
  3. Enter the information presented on the screen, then click “Register”
  4. Check the box to agree to the terms and conditions, then click “Sign On”

Who can register for this conference?

Anyone with a passion for quantum is welcome to attend this conference! Conference attendees will include VIP industry partners, venture capitalists, government officials, quantum experts and students.

How will the conference be structured?

Is there an option to attend this conference remotely?

This conference will be offered in-person only. In order to ensure that participants are fully able to maximize their networking opportunities, we ask that all attendees join in-person.
