Dr. Paul Oh, cardiologist and medical director of the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Program at the UHN-Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, will discuss the evolution and future of exercise as a key component of health promotion and care.

Dr. Stuart Phillips, professor of Kinesiology at McMaster and Canada Research Chair in Skeletal Muscle Health, presents this seminar highlighting his research on the interaction of exercise/physical activity, aging, and nutrition in skeletal muscle and body composition.

Dr. Keller will provide an overview of her career journey highlighting how opportunities have led to new steps and skill development in her career. 

Dr. McIlroy will provide an overview of his career researching neural control of human balance and offers insight into what the future may hold. 

The Aftab Patla Memorial Cup Hockey Game involves participation from undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, staff and faculty, both on the ice and in the stands. It was created in honour of Dr. Aftab Patla, a faculty member here in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences who passed away in 2007.
