New exhibit : Euclid

Special Collections & Archives is pleased to announce that 15 of our 45 editions of Euclid’s Elements of Geometry are on display at the Doris Lewis Rare Book Room. The editions span from 1505 to 1944 and they showcase developments in the teaching of Euclidean geometry as well as in printing. We encourage you to pay us a visit and view this outstanding collection.

Special Collections & Archives is pleased to offer limited in-person appointments for current Waterloo students, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows.

Although we remain closed to the public, staff have limited access to the archival and rare book collections. Please continue to contact us with your research requests but note that there will be a delay in resolving your inquiry.

We also invite you to visit the Waterloo Digital Library to view select items from our collections online.
