There are various activities to help you mark the department's milestone anniversary taking place on June 4. The Faculty of Engineering’s annual Reunion for all programs is the next day, Saturday June 5, and you are invited to stay and join these activities as well!

Former faculty members Edward Silver, John Buzacott, Mike Magazine, and Shoukry Saleh will reminisce about their time at the University of Waterloo, highlight milestones in the life of the department, and share stories of the early days of the Department of Management Sciences. Each talk is 25 minutes in length, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.

Take a guided tour through the newest halls of Waterloo Engineering: the Engineering 7 building! Then see your old stomping ground and new state-of-the-art research labs and hear about the transformational research taking place within the Faculty of Engineering. A current student will be your tour guide. This is a walking tour.
Tours depart at a regular basis throughout the day. Meet your tour guide at the marked spot in the Atrium. Last tour leaves at 3:00 pm!

DISCOUNT: The Waterloo Store in South Campus Hall will be open from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. for an opportunity to purchase your University of Waterloo apparel with a 15% discount for alumni.
The reunion lecture will be delivered by Mary Wells, Dean of Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
The Dean will deliver a lecture about the future of engineering at the University of Waterloo. Q&A to follow the lecture.

The Concrete Toboggan student team will be running a BBQ with all proceeds going to the team (cash purchases only). Support the team by purchasing your lunch from them! Tables and chairs will be provided inside the Atrium so lunch is available rain or shine. Vegetarian option available.

At this reception-style dinner, you will travel around multiple levels of the brand new Engineering 7 building enjoying unique and delicious food and dessert stations. Your class will have a great opportunity to meet, mingle and connect at this evening reception. Each level will feature casual seating areas and a cash bar with beer, wine and cocktail selections. There will also be live music on the 2nd floor as well as some interesting sights to see throughout the space, including our new Robohub.

Campus Maps, Directions, and Parking
Complimentary parking will be available on Friday, June 4, 2020 in parking lot R (evening only). Paid parking, $5 per day, is available in parking lots B and Q (daytime).
Complimentary parking will be available on Saturday, June 5, 2020 in parking lots A, B, L, M, N, Q, R, W and X. Pay parking is available in Lot H ($5 in coins required).
