The four-part Canadian Blockchain Olympiad Training Camp programme to prepare Canadian students for entering the 2019 International Blockchain Olympiad (www.ibcol.org), a multidisciplinary design & building competition for solving real-world challenges through decentralised apps.

Students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to watch the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) 2019 competition events. Various competitions in design, consulting, presentation and debate will take place throughout E7 from Friday, March 1 until Sunday, March 3.

Public Safety Canada (PSC) will be on campus on March 13 to deliver the Safeguarding Science Workshop for faculty and staff who are involved in research using biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear materials or technology.

Need to start thinking about a Capstone Design project idea? Interested in solving the personal mobility problems of the future alongside General Motors?

Come learn about additive manufacturing (3D printing) at UWaterloo. Tour state-of-the-art labs and create your own 3D design.

The registration is limited to 25 early birds.

Join us at the Conrad School for engaging and informative roundtable discussions with founders from the University of Waterloo startup community.

The theme of the inaugural Canadian Design Workshop is  Designing Engineering Design Education in Canada. Participation by attendees will be in the form of podium or poster sessions, grouped by theme. Two-page abstracts are due March 1, 2020.

Invited teams of Engineering students will be competing:

• for surprise Challenge Game theme when they arrive at E7-2317 (Conrad Hub)
• for half-hour to earn House (Engineering Departments) points
• for the Winter 2020 season (there are three games scheduled over lunch hour this Fall season)

Lunch will be provided to FANS and TEAMS! But you must pre-register to attend.

You get to support, cheer and receive FAN points for prizes at the end of the season!
