Carolyn Hansson awarded Robert E. Philleo Award

Congratulations to Carolyn Hansson, who has been awarded the Robert E. Philleo Award by the ACI Foundation’s Concrete Research Council. It has been bestowed “for pioneering research into corrosion performance of mild and corrosion-resistant reinforcing steels for concrete, corrosion monitoring of concrete structures and development guidance for durable design of transportation structures.”

Carolyn Hansson is a Professor in the department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering and cross-appointed to the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

This award was recognized at the ACI Spring 2022 Concrete Convention at the ACI Foundation Donor Recognition Event.
