A mechatronics student has earned a national fellowship that supports global leadership and entrepreneurship called the Cansbridge Fellowship.
Tobias Grether-Murray was one of this year's award winners. The Cansbridge Fellowship selects 15 students from across Canada annually and includes a $10,000 scholarship for their internship, attendance at a bootcamp and conference in San Francisco and joining a network of mentors and alumni.
What's great about this program is that alumni who have received the scholarship in the past run it, including founders and scholars.
Grether Murray says, "It's an honour to be selected for an award that celebrates Canadian excellence and promotes Canadian values. What makes Cansbridge special is the way it continues to bring together alumni across generations, all of whom have had eye-opening and enriching experiences in Asia and have gone on to lead with courage and a commitment to service."
Gerther Murray will be taking on his hands-on international internship in Asia in Winter 2027 as part of the scholarship program.
