PhD candidate Brok Laschowski was awarded 4th Prize Best Poster for his research on computer vision and deep learning for autonomous control of robotic lower-limb prostheses and exoskeletons at the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Rehabilitation Robotics (over 450 poster submissions). This research was conducted in collaboration with William McNally, Dr. John McPhee, and Dr. Alexander Wong, and supported by the Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
