Join us for an engaging jazz concert in July. Directed by Michael Wood, the Jazz Ensemble has members from all 6 Faculties, particularly Mathematics. This term they will be featuring the music of Mike Tomaro, Neal Hefti, Dave Wolpe & Rob McConnell.
Tickets will be available at the door, or from Jazz Ensemble members.
The University Choir performs an eclectic range of music from around the world. Directed by Liska Jetchick, the choir consists of students and alumni from all six faculties. This Spring term they will perform Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, composed in 1965.
Please join us for the Spring Term orchestra@uwaterloo concert. Directed by Daniel Warren, this orchestra includes students from across the University in all 6 Faculties.
An outdoor Farmer's market is the perfect location to enjoy the Balinese Gamelan Ensemble. Please join us at the Hespeler Village Market at 5pm. Both the student Balinese Gamelan and the Community Gamelan will be performing. Audience members will be able to try out the Gamelan instruments after the concert.
The University of Waterloo Music Department at Grebel was pleased to welcome small audiences back in person to enjoy end-of-term ensemble concerts this April. Also recorded for a broader audience, this treat for the ears showcased musical talent from the Chamber Choir, University Choir, Balinese Gamelan, Orchestra@UWaterloo, Jazz Ensemble, and small instrumental chamber ensembles. Participants include students from all faculties at UWaterloo, strengthening the connection between science, technology, engineering, math, and arts!

To aid in maintaining covid protocols, we are splitting the players into two separate concerts.
The orchestra@UWaterloo is delighted to present our first in person concert with a live audience in two years. Members are from all six faculties, and this term we will have strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
The University Choir is directed by Liska Jetchick. This term it will feature a wide range of pieces from around the world, including Baba Yetu, Shenendoah, and Flight Song.
