Soprano Rebecca McKay and pianist Jodie Van der Heide will present a selection of pieces by women composers. Some are well known such as Alma Mahler and other composers not so much, namely Katerina Gimon.  However, all will be delightful pieces.

A fundraiser for former KW Symphony musicians

Catherine He, the winner of the 2023 Concerto & Aria Competition, will play Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor with the orchestra.

Flutist Wendy Wagler, pianist Beth Ann de Sousa, and Cathy Anderson will present a selection of classical works.. 

The Balinese Gamelan Ensemble and the Community Gamelan will be playing a selection of traditional music from Bali.

To celebrate Grebel's 60th Anniversary, all three of our choirs will join in song. Two pieces by Grebel alumni have been specially commissioned for this event.

This concert presents European composers in 20 century with variety of compositional style.  Violinist Jung Tsai, violist Judith Davenport, and cellist Rebecca Morton are the featured musicians.

This is the Student Jazz Ensemble End of Term Concert, directed by Michael Wood.  Featured composers include Dave Brubeck, Chuck Mangione, and more.

Magdalena Tomsinska will play various plucked instruments originating between the 13th and the 17th century.  Rebecca MacKay will sing period pieces that showcase the instruments.

Andromeda Trio was recently awarded grants from Canada Council for the Arts and the Region of Waterloo Arts Fund to commission, workshop and record a piece by Canadian composer, Karen Sunabacka, which will explore Métis-Mennonite relations in Canada, which reflects the ancestries of our ensemble.
