Felix Hong was the Grand Prize winner of the prestigious Concours Prix d’Europe in 2017, as well as the Prix Jean Marchand for the best collaborative pianist in 2022, and has been performing solo/ chamber music recitals extensively. This concert will feature Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Xxhibition and Los Requiebros by Granados.
The Phoenix trio will perform an arrangement of the Mendelssohn Piano Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano that was done by Mendelssohn himself! Exciting stuff!
Ryan Baxter and Connor O'Kane will perform two Australian compositions for four handed piano.
This concert will feature violin duet music with piano accompaniment from the 1st half of 20th century Europe ( France, Belgium and Russia).
