Felix Hong was the Grand Prize winner of the prestigious Concours Prix d’Europe in 2017, as well as the Prix Jean Marchand for the best collaborative pianist in 2022, and has been performing solo/ chamber music recitals extensively. This concert will feature Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Xxhibition and Los Requiebros by Granados.
Our apologies, this has been cancelled. The program primarily features art song and opera from the 19th and 20th centuries including a set of songs by the underappreciated 19th century composer, Peter Cornelius.
The Phoenix trio will perform an arrangement of the Mendelssohn Piano Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano that was done by Mendelssohn himself! Exciting stuff!
Ryan Baxter and Connor O'Kane will perform two Australian compositions for four handed piano.
