Join us for an engaging jazz concert in July.  Directed by Michael Wood, the Jazz Ensemble has members from all 6 Faculties, particularly Mathematics. This term they will be featuring the music of Mike Tomaro, Neal Hefti, Dave Wolpe & Rob McConnell.

Tickets will be available at the door, or from Jazz Ensemble members.

Directed by Ben Bolt-Martin, 7 different Instrumental Chamber Trios will perform a wide range of classical music pieces.  Free admission.

This concert will feature Concerto Competition winner Garnet Zhao playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor with the orchestra@uwaterloo.

Come and join the University Choir as they explore themes of winter through works by G.F. Handel, Randall Stroope, Edward Elgar, Randall Thompson, and many more.

The fall program explores themes of light and night in music that spans five hundred years, written by composers such as Palestrina, Josquin and Victoria of the Renaissance and Eric Whitacre, Ēriks Ešenvalds, and Sarah Quartel of our own time.

A Concert Featuring Canadian Compositions and their composers … 

Jung Tsai, the accomplished 2^nd Associate Concertmaster of the KW Symphony, will perform 20^th Century violin works.  Franz Waxman’s virtuoso violin showpiece will be featured, entitled Carmen Fantasie.  Other pieces include a work by eminent Canadian composer Elizabeth Raum, called Les Ombres.  

Poland Parables, music by Carol Ann Weaver, is a set of pieces based on text by Canadian Mennonite writer Connie Braun who recounted difficult, impossible, and heart-rending stories from her own family members during WWII, Poland — stories of displacement, trauma, loss, and hardship.
