On Sunday, October 5th the Chamber Choir had an opportunity to sing with the Cardinal Consort of Viols in Toronto, at the Church of the Redeemer. The selection of early English music, including works by Tallis and Holborne, was enthusiastically received by the audience.

With sadness, the Conrad Grebel University College community mourns 
the loss of Professor Wilbur Maust on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Bill Maust was Professor of Music at Grebel for 20 years until he retired in 1996.
WATERLOO, ON – Conrad Grebel University College is well into preparations for the third in a series of music festival-conferences from June 5 to 8.
Timothy Corlis has been appointed as Assistant Professor of Music at Conrad Grebel University College, beginning August 1, 2014. He will focus his teaching on Music Theory, stepping in after Professor Carol Ann Weaver retires in June, having taught at Grebel for 29 years. Conrad Grebel is home to the Music Department at the University of Waterloo.
Spring Term auditions for the UW Choir and the Instrumental Chamber Ensembles have been scheduled.

This year orchestra@uwaterloo is holding one of its biennial Concerto and Aria Competitions, sponsored by Prof. David Taylor of the School of Computer Science, hosted by the University of Waterloo Music Department at Conrad Grebel University College. The competition is open to all uWaterloo students, and the prize is a concert performance with the orchestra -- one of this year's winners will perform with the orchestra at their April 3 concert.
The Toronto Percussion Ensemble performed at Grebel's Noon Hour Concert yesterday. Who knew flowerpots and winebottles could be percussion instruments?
