Saba Haroon, a third-year optometry student at the University of Waterloo, embarked on a life-changing journey this past summer as part of a Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) volunteer trip to the Philippines.

The University of Waterloo is working with the Southern Chiefs’ Organization and Manitoba Association of Optometrists to co-develop data governance policies for eye data.
