The Young Alumni Award recognizes recent graduates of Renison University College who, having graduated from academic programs and/or Community and Professional Education (CAPE) programs or courses administered by the College within the past 10 years, or having lived in residence at the College for at least two terms within the past ten years, have made significant contributions to their field, either through academic achievement or service to the community.
Insignia: Silver Badge of the College within a circular border of black, upon which is inscribed the name and motto of the College, suspended from a green ribbon.
Criteria:
- The nominee has graduated within the past ten years at the Bachelor's level or above and taken programs or courses administered by the College, or has successfully participated in CAPE programs or courses, or has been a resident in the College within the past ten years for at least two terms.
- Nominations of current Renison students will be considered.
- The nominee must have distinguished herself or himself either through service to their community or through academic achievement.
Usually, the nomination originates from a person associated with the College, including students, staff, faculty of all kinds, alumni/ae, and members of the board of governors. The nominating letter should state clearly how the nominee meets the criteria above. The nominating letter should include a detailed resume of the nominee.
