The East Asian Special Collection (EASC) is a foreign language collection consisting of over 1000 titles in Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Items are sorted into their respective language and cultural groups.
The project to revitalize our East Asian language holdings, which included implementing the digital organization and automated circulation system, was begun in 2013 and completed recently in August 2015. Visitors can browse our holdings on our online database before coming into the library. Please note that this collection is separate from the rest of the Tri-University Group of Libraries (TUG) system.
We are excited to open this collection to the public! We would like to thank the Japan Foundation and the Confucius Institute for their generous donations towards the collection.
For questions or concerns specifically about EASC items, please contact Tony Tin, Director of Library and Information Services.
