New research papers from SEED faculty on flooding, health care, education, and climate

Professors and research students in the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) have been busy developing their research since the onset of the global COVID-19 lockdown. Several new peer-reviewed articles have been published over the last months:

Prof. Jennifer Lynes has an article with Prof. Amelia Clarke, on the very topical subject of online education for sustainability.

Prof. Steven B. Young, along with SUSM PhD student Alexander Cimprich, has an important article written with about 40 co-authors from around the world, on the emerging importance of healthcare sustainability science, that explores dimensions of resource consumption and environmental emissions associated with healthcare activities.

Prof. Juan Moreno-Cruz has published in the journal Energy Economics on the topic of engineering the climate via Solar Radiation Management as a potential component in future climate policies.

Prof. Jason Thistlethwaite has a new paper in the Journal of Urban Affairs on managing urban flood risk.

Prof. Amelia Clarke has a new article with her former PhD students Adrienne MacDonald and Eduardo Ordonez-Ponce and MES student Ziqi (Emma) Chai on the demand for sustainability professionals in local governments.
