Masters of Environment and Business students, as well as other graduate students, staff and faculty, attended an engaging and informative armchair dialogue with Dr. Dianne Saxe, the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario.
Dr. Olaf Weber joins Linda Ryan, host of Voice America's new radio series, Building Banking on Values to discuss values-based banking, also known as ethical, regenerative, just or sustainable banking. It's focus is to put people before profit, and put banking back in service of the people, organizations and communities that make it possible.

St. Paul’s student Kaitlin Murray (fourth-year International Development) is the recipient of a Mitacs GlobalinkResearch grant, worth $5,000, which will allow her to work with a non-governmental organization called NIRMAN in India this term. Mitacs is an internationally known Canadian not-for-profit organization that supports research, training, and social innovation.
Dr. Olaf Weber discusses a recent analysis of Corporate Knights' Eco-Fund Ratings for 424 equity funds available to Canadian investors. The study analysed the impact of both carbon intensity and exposure to green companies listed on the Rating list.
Professor Jason Thistlethwaite discusses the opportunities to use data coming from the NASA satellite in decision making to protect coastal communities vulnerable to storms strengthened by an increase in the sea level. Read the full article on the Toronto Star.
