Graduate Student Vacancies on Senate

This serves as a call for nominations to fill upcoming graduate student vacancies on Senate, the University’s highest academic governing body. Two graduate students of the University are to be elected by and from the full- and part-time graduate students of the University, for a two-year term beginning 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2026.

At least five graduate student nominators are required. To be eligible to accept the nomination, the candidate must be a full or part-time graduate student*. A brief candidate statement (100 words maximum) must be submitted with the nomination form to appear with the election ballot.

If you are interested, please email elections@uwaterloo.ca to request the nomination form. The nomination period closes and forms must be received by 4:30 p.m., Thursday February 22 2024.

Elections will be held beginning Wednesday Monday February 26 2024, closing Monday March 4 2024.
