What does Senate do?
The University of Waterloo Senate oversees the academic policy of the University. Senate oversight includes the authority to regulate curricula for all courses, monitor the conduct and results of examinations, determine standards of admission and confer degrees, diplomas, certificates and honorary degrees.
Elections 2024
Call for nominations will take place in February, with elections taking place at the beginning of March.
