Staff Vacancies - Board of Governors

A call for nominations is now open for one member of the regular full-time staff of the University to serve as a staff representative on the Board of Governors for a three-year term beginning May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2027.

The nomination form is available online, or through the Secretariat on request by emailing elections@uwaterloo.ca

The campaign period will run from Tuesday, February 20, 2024 to Thursday, February 29, 2024.

The voting period for regular full-time staff (non-union and OPSEU) is planned for Wednesday March 6 to 12, 2024 by electronic ballot. Each regular full-time staff member will receive an email with a direct link to the ballot.

The voting period for CUPE full-time staff is planned for Wednesday February 28 to March 12, 2024 by paper ballot. Each regular full-time union member receive a paper ballot through campus mail.

Submit completed nomination forms by email to the Secretariat at elections@uwaterloo.ca, to the attention of the Chief Returning Officer, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday February 16, 2024.
