M. Elizabeth McKinlay graduated from Waterloo with a BA in psychology in 1978 and has gone on to receive an MA and graduate-level training in clinical psychology with a specialization in marriage and family therapy.
Elizabeth provides counselling for individuals and families who are dealing with some of life’s most difficult challenges: grief, loss, divorce, and depression. Through her work as a therapist, she is able to help people transition through major life changes and to find new paths to personal growth and self-understanding. She has worked in publicly funded mental health services, and since 1998 has maintained her own private practice, serving families and individuals in the Grey/Bruce and Owen Sound areas.
Elizabeth has also served as a United Church minister and has been recognized in the past by St. Paul’s for her dedication and philanthropic support.
