GreenHouse Propel Impact Investing Fellowship

The GreenHouse Propel Impact Investing Fellowship gives University of Waterloo undergraduate students the unique opportunity to gain direct, hands-on experience evaluating real investment opportunities that address local social and environmental challenges. While many students learn how to build ventures, few get exposure to how investors assess impact, risk, and potential. This fellowship bridges that gap by helping students develop the language and tools that investors use to evaluate impact and unlock capital.

Developed in partnership with Propel Impact and supported by the Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF), the GreenHouse Propel Impact Investing Fellowship is a two-year program where Associates participate in a community-based, student-led impact investment fund. During the program, Associates have an opportunity to raise investment capital, identify high-impact social enterprises in Waterloo Region, complete research and due diligence on investment opportunities, and manage a growing portfolio.
