GreenHouse at United College recently hosted its biannual Social Impact Showcase, bringing together students, mentors, and community members to celebrate the next generation of changemakers. The Winter 2026 showcase highlighted innovative ventures tackling some of today’s most pressing social, environmental, and community challenges.

Throughout the evening, student entrepreneurs pitched their ideas, sharing how their ventures are creating meaningful change both locally and globally. From climate action to inclusive design and community wellbeing, this term’s showcase reflected the diversity and creativity of the GreenHouse community.

Director of GreenHouse Tania Del Matto said it was incredibly inspiring to see what this 36th cohort accomplished.

“The Social Impact Showcase is always a highlight for us, but this past winter term really underscored the depth of thought, empathy, and action our students bring to complex challenges. From climate education and housing accessibility to inclusive design and faith-based community building, these ventures reflect what’s possible when students are supported to work alongside communities and turn ideas into impact.”

Del Matto congratulated the winners of this showcase and encouraged all participants to keep striving for impact.
