As a leader in her community, Cassie applies her dedication to equity in her personal life. She is a Technovations mentor, a program where leaders in innovation mentor a team of young girls as they create a solution around a social problem; and she serves as a volunteer at the Waterloo Region Sexual Assault Support Center, where she works on the support line to help survivors navigate sexual violence.
