Jacob started his career selling bubble gum at pow-wows at the age of nine and describes himself as a lifelong entrepreneur. He is from Tsuut'ina Nation located in Treaty 7 territory and brings two decades of experience of supporting Indigenous communities throughout North America. Jacob is an advocate and innovator for Indigenous businesses and builds frameworks that are inclusive to Indigenous people. He has co-founded a media production company called The Arrow’s Journey, which showcases the stories of successful Indigenous youth businesses and nonprofits across the United States and Canada. 

In 2021, he was a part of the Renewing Indigenous Economies at the Hoover Institute at Stanford University. He has also received congressional recognition from United States Secretary of State Deb Haaland. Each year Jacob gives back to his community through a grassroots initiative that provides access to funding for Tsuut’ina people.
