This form is for potential supervisors of Department of Biology NSERC USRA applicants. Deadline for 2026-2027 applications is Friday, February 6, 2026 8:30am.
For 2026/2027: Tri-Agency provides $6,000/term. The supervisor's minimum top-up is $4,500/term ($1,125/month) In total, the student will receive a minimum total of $10,500/term.
The supervisor portion is no longer dependent on the number of weeks the student works (14, 15, or 16 weeks). Supervisors are not required to hold any NSERC or other Tri-Agency grants to supervise a USRA.
