The Ontario AMC is a joint partnership between the University of Waterloo, McMaster University and Western University. As part of the Water Institute's WaterTalks lecture series, Professor Martyn Clark, Associate Director at the Centre for Hydrology at the University of Saskatchewan and Editor-in-Chief of Water Resources Research, will present "The Evolution of Process-Based Hydrologic Models: Historical Challenges and the Collective Quest for Physical Realism."

Public Safety Canada (PSC) will be on campus on March 13 to deliver the Safeguarding Science Workshop for faculty and staff who are involved in research using biological, chemical, radiological, or nuclear materials or technology.

Join the Water Institute on March 1, in DWE 3518 to learn about AquaHacking 2019: a multi-stage competition that engages entrepreneurs, raising awareness of water issues and fostering their commitment to solving them.

Chemical Engineering's Capstone Design Symposium will feature 35 projects from final year Engineering students ranging in topic from solar powered cooking to the production of artificial blood vessels.

Students, faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to watch the Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) 2019 competition events. Various competitions in design, consulting, presentation and debate will take place throughout E7 from Friday, March 1 until Sunday, March 3.

Host Professor Tong Leung welcomes Professor Giovanni Fanchini from Western University to the Department of Chemistry for a seminar about nanostructured flash memory devices based on radical polymers and carbon-based nanomaterials. All are welcome.
