Future students

Professor Emeritus Campbell William Robinson passed away on October 18, 2016. He was a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering from 1971–1996 and was part of the Biochemical Engineering research group.

• 1st Place in Macromolecular Science Category: Yun-Seok Jun, “Highly Conductive and Interconnected Graphene Foam Based Polymer Composite” (supervised by Prof. A. Yu)
• 2nd Place in Macromolecular Science Category:

For the 4^th year in a row, the team earned Gold Standing at the competition. This year they brought home the Best Poster prize!”

Paul Chen, a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Frank Gu, has been awarded a prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship.  His research involves the application of gold nano-particles for detection and identification of pathogens that cause infectious disease.

Prof. Zhongwei Chen has received $3 million in funding to further his work into greener, cheaper, more energy-efficient silicon-based batteries.
