This event will focus on building a solid foundation for all your future endeavors (whether entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial) and assist you in achieving your aspirations. You will be encouraged to explore and expand your growth mindset as you are asked to examine your core values and motivations. Established founder teams will gain insight into their "founder framework" and be able to immediately apply key findings to improve their personal effectiveness.
Find out how your team can go from idea to funding in this "how to" session. Lyon Wong, Spectrum 28, outlines the steps to getting funded. Select teams are interviewed and funding readiness issues examined. It's two hours of "hands-on, how-to" knowledge involving real startups who are looking for funding.
Now available to all Waterloo Engineering departments, the Palihapitiya/Lau Venture Creation Fund provides two $50,000 awards to University-selected Capstone Design teams whose intention is to transform their Capstone Design project into a promising startup post-graduation.
