Congratulations Waterloo.AI GRADflix Competition Winners 2021

Congratulations Zaid Al-Sabbag, a 2025 Civil and Environmental Engineering student from the Faculty of Engineering (co-supervised by Chul Min Yeum and Sriram Narasimhan), won first place in Waterloo.AI GRADflix Competition with his research on augmented reality and it’s uses in infrastructure maintenance. Congratulations to the second place recipients of the CSCE President Student Chapter Award

Our CEAGES (Civil, Environmental, Architectural and Geological Engineering Society) student chapter also serves as our CSCE (Canadian Society for Civil Engineering) student chapter and produces an annual report. The report was found to be the second best nationally. Congratulations CEAGES Team!
