Can my child attend more than one week of camp? How do I make sure they don't repeat a camp?

There are distinct camps for each grade group: Curiosity, Discovery and Voyager. Grade groups will have their sessions divided by letter (A/B or A/B/C). A camper can attend one session of each letter in a camp, but they would not be permitted to register for two weeks of the same camp (e.g., registering for Discovery A twice). If campers are registered for the same camp more than once, ESQ will reach out to cancel and refund the additional registrations.

What grade should I select for my child?

For summer camps, our registration system determines camp choices based on your child's grade they will be entering in September, not the grade they are currently in. For this reason, please ensure your child's grade is entered correctly when registering in a camp season. 

Will I get a registration confirmation email?

You will receive an initial confirmation email of registration. ESQ will send out an email with information specific to your camp closer to your camp start date. This is generally sent 1-2 weeks in advance of your camp.

I've registered for the wrong camp. What do I do?

Any registration changes will need to go through the ESQ office. Please email us at esqinfo@uwaterloo.ca and detail all the relevant information, including what you would like removed and what you would like added. 

Can I change the week of camp I registered for?

Yes. We are happy to change your camp week, as long as there is a space available.

How do I request a bursary?

Please note this must be done BEFORE registering in a camp. Check out our Bursary and Awards page for more details. There is a deadline for bursary applications so we may be unable to accommodate your request.

Can you send me a tax receipt?

Receipts from Spring 2021 onwards can be found by logging into your account on our registration system, and navigating to the following: In the section titled 'View My Registrations' > Click 'View Details' under the season of your registration(s) there should be an option allowing you to generate a statement within the area called Finance
