2026/2027 salary settlement
FAUW has reached a one-year salary settlement with the University of Waterloo, providing a 2.6% across-the-board scale increase, effective May 1, 2026.
Balancing the equation for Women in Mathematics
Women in Mathematics has transformed the landscape of academic research and industry networking opportunities available to women+ students at all levels of the Faculty of Mathematics. During this time, WiM’s flagship programs have blossomed into essential infrastructure that plays a critical role in guiding women+ students to success post-graduation, achieving meaningful engagement with many hundreds of students, while largely offsetting program costs through external sponsorships obtained by way of their own independent efforts.

This workshop provides critical information on how to succeed and to ensure you know where and how to get your questions answered. The workshop will also clarify the expectations of your peers and of University policy during this process.

This is especially true given the recent changes to Policy 76 and 77 for teaching stream faculty. This workshop provides critical information on how to succeed and to ensure you know where and how to get your questions answered. The workshop will also clarify the expectations of your peers and of the University policy during this process.
