The 2021 Constitutional Referendum has passed!
Between May 17 to May 20, 2021, graduate students had the opportunity to vote towards the proposed changes to the GSEF Constitution.
86.27% of votes were in favour of the constitutional amendments, while 13.73% of votes were against. Overall, the 2/3 majority was exceeded, and the vote passed. The University of Waterloo Board of Governors approved the proposed amendments to the Constitution on June 1, 2021.

Please note that the Environmental Sustainability Award will be postponed for the Spring 2021 term, but students can still apply for Large Project Funding. The Spring 2021 application deadline is June 11th.
