Inspired by the late Dr. Ray Laflamme, founding executive director of IQC, a group of young quantum researchers look beyond how quantum science and technology will impact society. They are asking: “How will it be used responsibly?”
Earlier this month, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) Quantum Safe Cryptography Conference 2026 brought together leaders from industry, government and academia to discuss the future of cybersecurity and cryptography. IQC Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Devashish Tupkary was one of the many presenters at the conference.
