Discover how mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, and more combine into one of the most exciting topics in modern science – quantum information – at the Quantum Cryptography School for Young Students (QCSYS). QCSYS is a unique enrichment program for high school students that will run this August.

QCSYS will be a free, online program that offers a blend of expert lectures, small group discussions, problem solving, and opportunities for mentoring and networking with world-leading quantum researchers.

The 5th European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)/Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) Workshop will take place in London (UK) on 13 – 15 September 2017.

It will start with a special Executive Track on 13 September and will be followed by an in depth technical track on 14-15 September 2017, on which ETSI is currently calling for presentations and poster session.

The Quantum Innovators workshop brings together the most promising young researchers in quantum physics and engineering. Guests are invited for a four-day workshop aimed at exploring the frontier of our field.

Join us for two days at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) for the Teaching Quantum Technology workshop (TQT) December 5-6. You will have the opportunity to attend lectures and engage in hands-on activities focused on the integration of quantum technology into the current teaching curriculum. We will discuss quantum information science and technology to give you a deeper understanding of quantum mechanics.

QIP 2004 is the seventh workshop on quantum computing, quantum cryptography and quantum information theory. The QIP Workshop is co-hosted by the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and the Perimeter Institute. The workshop will consist of various invited speakers, open sessions, a poster session and an entertaining banquet.

All of the sessions will be at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation (CIGI). 

The Coherent Spintronics workshop is a two-day conference with David Cory's Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) research group at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC).

The workshop will focus on developments and existing technologies for the coherent control of quantum systems – a major hurdle to be overcome before practical quantum computers can be built. Topics will include heat bath algorithmic cooling, superconducting flux qubits, quantum error models and recent innovations in nanotechnology.

Jonathan Baugh, Frank Wilhelm and Raymond Laflamme of the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) researcher David Cory will host a two-day workshop on Coherent Spintronics on January 10-11, 2008 at IQC.

The Institute for Quantum Computing and the Fields Institute for Mathematical Research are holding the Mathematics in Experimental Quantum information Processing workshop. It aims to bring together mathematicians and experimental quantum information researchers to encourage academic collaborations. 

The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from quantum computing and classical programming languages.
