The University of Waterloo and the University of Strathclyde Transatlantic Funding Call Participants and Projects

The University of Strathclyde and University of Waterloo signed their first Research Agreement in 2017. Since that development, our partnership has been highly collaborative, with a joint colloquium in 2020 and now the Strathclyde/Waterloo Joint Transatlantic Funding Call. Waterloo International has been thrilled to steward the Fund with our colleagues at Strathclyde.

The University of Waterloo has signed a broad-based Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD), India, with the aim of supporting a range of activities across talent, research, and community areas. The University of Waterloo and the University of Warwick Collaborate on Esports

Representatives from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) are exploring ways in which each of their burgeoning esports activities can be enriched by trans-Atlantic international collaboration.

Waterloo and Warwick have been long-standing international partners, with successful research collaborations, student exchanges, and a joint academic programme.

Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) Leads Actions to Advance United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

The University of Waterloo’s Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) is, with a number of its international partners, leading action on ways in which nanotechnology expertise in higher education can advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). These actions have been primarily identified as the development of talent, the advancement of research for global impact, and the promotion of sustainable and diverse communities.
