Jack Forbes, a Management Engineering alumnus, was recently interviewed on his experience working for starts ups, starting one, and eventually being accepted to the Y Combinator, an influential start-up incubator.
Jack co-founded Faros (previously known as PadPiper), a service that helps people find short-term rental housing, which was inspired by his own difficult experience in finding good housing while on co-op terms.
Jack has continued to maintain a strong connection with the University of Waterloo. This week he will host a co-operative education webinar on living and working in San Francisco to help co-op students prepare for their next co-op term in San Francisco.
